Top blogs for Twenty Fourteen...

It seemed like 2013 definitely flew by, and I can't believe we are heading into 2014 already. 2013 was eventful for me, I moved house, completed a qualification at work and tried to combine blogging with my full time job. The one thing I always loved doing of an evening was sitting down with a nice cup of coffee/glass of wine/bar of chocolate and reading some of my favourite blogs. I've compiled a list of those that I have been going back to time and time again and wanted to share them with you so you can find some great new reads for 2014.

Becca's Fashion and Life

I met Becca at the beginning of the year at a Benefit event and she is the sweetest girl I have ever met! I love her blog, she has great photos, reviews and is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to bloggers! We have been on several trips to London together this year and we can always have a good natter on the coach on the way!

Bed in the Kitchen

Another lovely lady I met at the beginning of the year via Twitter, we then later discovered she lived down the road from me (until I moved). Jaye is currently studying and living in London and is the ultimate London map. If you need to find out how to get to anywhere in London, she's your girl! Becca and I stayed with her recently when we went to a blogging event in London and I had such a good time! If you love high end beauty then her posts are for you!

The Puzzle of Sandra's Life
Sandra's blog has a little bit of everything, beauty, fashion, food, travel. The thing I love most, is that she lives in Slovenia (somewhere I have never visited before) and it's great to check out her photos of the lovely places she visits. She also has some pretty amusing YouTube videos. Check out the ones she does with her sister!

Burkatron
Caroline is the woman behind Burkatron, primarily a fashion, nail art and craft blog. It was her crafting ideas that first led me to finding her. I have learnt so much from her and I'm pretty excited to try making some DIY bunting ribbon which I have seen on one of her latest posts. She always takes the time to reply to my tweets and is a genuinely nice person.

Peachpowxo
I met Tamsyn at the Bloggers Secret Santa meet up in London in November. I remember walking up to her and announcing that she is from a town not far away from me. Fortunately she saw past my weirdness and we instantly hit it off! Her blog is full of beauty, food and lifestyle and she is taking part in a similar challenge to my 30 before 30. We even share a few of the same goals!

Obviously these aren't all the blogs I read, but these are firm favourites and ones I keep returning to for new posts. I have lots more lovely blogs featured on my blog roll so make sure you check that out too!

Do you have any recommendations for new reads? Do you follow any of these blogs already?

  1. I know how you feel! I've gone full time this year and I'm struggling to juggle everything - I feel like a mad woman! Good choices of blogs, I love Sandra's blog especially!
