Amie Skincare | Spring Clean Cooling Mask

You may have noticed by now that I love to put on a face mask of an evening and just take 10 minutes for myself to relax and de-stress from the day. I'm always on the look our for new ones to try and after reviewing the New Leaf Skin Exfoliating Polish from Amie and being thoroughly impressed (you can read the review here), I was excited to give this new Spring Clean Cooling Clay Mask a go.

Spring Clean is a refreshing deep cleansing treatment that draws out dirt and impurities and helps to keep skin blemish free. I have been suffering a lot with my skin lately due to the stress of being burgled and then moving unexpectedly so this has been a real saviour!

Like all of Amie's products, the Spring Clean Cooling Face Mask is made with as many natural ingredients as possible (this one is 94% natural) and is paraben free. It's also not tested on animals (a huge plus in my book) and is suitable to vegetarians and vegans.

The packaging is the same as the New Leaf Exfoliating Polish, which is the perfect size for home or travel. The thing I most like about it is you can use as much or as little as you want. With some masks which are supplied in sachets I sometimes find that there isn't enough for the thickness I'd like. Spring Clean allows me to use as much as I want and still have some left for several more applications!

The mask smells of peppermint and is super thick (which I think is the perfect consistency for a face mask) Once applied it has a cool sensation which really helps me to relax. To use, all you have to do is cover your face (avoiding the eyes) and then relax for 10 minutes while it gets to work. Once the time is up, just rinse off the mask with warm water. I found that it felt like I had a new layer of completely soft skin on my face and it felt great to know that I had rinsed off the dirt of the day!

Spring Clean retails at £4.95 for 75ml (which when you consider the amount of applications you get, is a complete bargain!) and can be purchased online on the Amie website.

Have you tired any Amie products before?

  1. This sounds really lovely. I actually remember reading about Amie skincare in a magazine about 6 years ago and thought it was really cool that the girls mum had designed skincare specifically for her daughter. And now the products are all over the blogging world! I think I might buy this as I love minty scents x
