Weekly Round Up | 022/023

Ok, so I've been a bit of a bad blogger recently...my Weekly Round Up posts are never scheduled, I write them every Sunday morning (even if  I publish them on the hour - as I'm a bit weird like that) and last Sunday I woke up and really couldn't be bothered to turn on my computer. I think I've become a bit of a slave to it recently, I work with computers and analysers all day at work and then come home and sit at one all evening too. It was a beautiful sunny day last Sunday and Bradley was playing a match against Torbay so I decided I would soak up some sunshine by the side of the field and watch the game. It did give me an opportunity to play around with my camera and I have one shot (linky here) that I'm particularly proud of.

As a result, I now have two weeks to share with you but nothing particularly exciting has happened! I was able to take part in the #bbloggers Twitter chat on Wednesday for the first time in a long time and it was lovely to be able to chat to some new bloggers. I've been quite restrained with my beauty buying recently (due to lack of money!) so it was nice to hear what others had been loving so I can spend my pennies a bit more wisely. I actually have £50 in Boots points saved and have no clue what to buy with them yet so any ideas would be welcome!

This next week will hopefully be more eventful as I am actually on holiday from work! I'm having family celebrations today as it is my sister's birthday and our wedding anniversary this week. We have a few little things planned but are trying to keep costs down (I hate this saving lark) which I will share with you soon.

There have been quite a few beauty posts up this week. My favourite being my review on Essie's Watermelon shade. Now I'm off work I can actually wear this on my fingers as well as my toes. It always brightens up my mood. I also reviewed my MAC Fix+ spray this week which has been a godsend in the hot weather we have been having recently.

What have you been up to this week?
