London Haul!

If you've been reading my blog/following my twitter over the last week, you'll know that I attended Sophie's meet up in London last Saturday. I had been saving up a few pennies so I could get a few "essentials" and a few extra lovely bits on the side. It's my birthday in two weeks time and I usually get some money to put towards some thing I like so I've pretty much spent my birthday money already! Here is a run down of the lovely things I bought.

Bioderma
I bought two bottles of the 500ml Bioderma in Zest just off Carnaby Street as I don't have anywhere near me that sells it. I know I can get it online but I hate paying delivery charges so this was the perfect opportunity to stock up.

Topshop pumps and nail varnish
In the Oxford Circus Topshop I managed to find a cute ivory pair of ballerina pumps which have not come at a better time as my much loved silver ones are falling apart. I also picked up two polish shades in Spilled Milk and Suffuse. Spilled Milk is a white shade which I will use as a base coat or on its own and Suffuse is a lovely rose gold colour which I first saw on Ellie's Ramblings and knew I had to have!

Essie Watermelon and Babyliss Hairdryer
In Boots I managed to get my hands on Essies Watermelon, Jaye was wearing it on her nails that day and it looked so pretty! I also had to buy a new hairdryer as mine had decided to blow up a few days before the meet (luckily my friend Michelle was on hand to led me hers for a few days!) I didn't want to spend too much on one and this one was £20 plus Boots were having a points offer so I go £5 worth of Boots points too!

MAC pro palette, shadows and fixing spray
Saving the best until last, I've wanted to get the quad palette for sometime but they've always been sold out online when I've looked. It was touch and go in the shop for a while too as they didnt think they had any! I also bought two shadows to get started, All That Glitters and Shroom. I wore Shroom on my wedding day, so I knew I wanted to get that first. I also got a mini version of the fixing spray as I wanted to give that a try too. I can guarantee they'll be posts on these in the next few weeks!

  4. Really want to start building my own MAC palette but there's so much choice! All That Glitters seems to be a universally loved shade though so I guess I'd be silly not to include that one!

  7. I love fix+! I don't wear make up often so I always forget and rub my eyes. With fix+, it doesn't matter!
