New Things | 002

It's been a while since I've done a new things post...mostly because I haven't had any new things! As most of you know I'm saving for my honeymoon later in the year so every spare penny is going in the savings pot so most of these items are ones that I have received as gifts for my birthday/Christmas or in goody bags from meet ups. It's been lovely to be able to try a few new things without having to pay for them myself! Here's what I've got to show you today...

MAC Pro Palette and Eyeshadows in Mulch & Antiqued
I was lucky enough to receive this as a birthday present from my best friend Carly and I was so excited when I opened it! She bought it back from Paris when she went there in September and I can't wait to fill it up. I know what I will be asking for for every birthday until it's full! I'm going to turn it into a neutral palette (who'd have guessed!) so I will keep you updated on whats going in it as I fill it up.

Kiko Eyeshadow Sticks in 06 & 25
I first saw these months ago on Jaye's blog and knew I had to give them a try. I picked them up on a recent trip to London and still haven't given them a try yet. I love that you can just swipe them on and get an instant colour with minimal fuss...perfect for when I'm on the early shift at work and do my make up with my eyes closed!

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer
My Mum picked this up for me on an emergency shopping trip after I phoned her telling her I had run out of primer and could she pick me one up on the way over to mine. There is no Body Shop store at the shopping centre she was at so I couldn't get my usual one so I had to make a quick decision about what to buy and sent her a photo of this one.

Make Up Revolution What You Waiting For Palette
I'm ashamed to say that I am a beauty blogger who hasn't tried anything from Make Up Revolution yet, despite hearing everyone talking about them, I was lucky enough to receive this palette from a bloggers meet up that I went to last year but am still yet to try it. I love how versatile palettes are and that you can create so many different looks from just one palette (my UD palettes get constant use!)

Essie polishes in Chinchilly & Merino Cool and the Winter 2014 collection
Boots were running a gift with purchase before Christmas last year and if you bought two polishes you got the Winter 2014 mini collection free. Obviously being a huge Essie fan I couldn't resist this offer and immediately popped them in my basket. I fell in love with Chinchilly after borrowing it from my sister and knew I had to have it in my collection and just look at Jiggle Hi Jiggle Low, isn't it pretttyy?

What do you think to my purchases?
What have you been buying recently?

  4. Jiggle Hi Jiggle Lo is a fab polish, it was the only one I picked up in full size from that collection. Intrigued by the KIKO sticks, wish we had it in stores here!
