Tonight is the American Football Superbowl XLVII in New Orleans between the San Francisco 49er's and The Baltimore Ravens.
I haven't been a NFL fan for very long but my husband is and I'm being a dutiful wife this evening and watching it with him (It starts at midnight and finishes at about 4am for those of you who don't know!)
Beyonce will also be singing at the halftime show - thats what I'm looking forward to the most!
Whilst I don't own any team jerseys or memorabilia one thing I can make is cakes so I set about designing a cupcake which we could enjoy whilst watching the game tonight.
I searched Google and Pintrest for inspiration and found a design that I could do easily as I didn't want to get too technical!
So here's what I came up with, cupcakes decorated like American Footballs!
I've shown you a before and after photo of the cakes. They all came out really even and golden brown so I'm quite pleased with them!

Holy moly, I LOVE Super Sunday but I would not wait up until 12 am to 4am on Sunday to watch it. That's dedication and I applaud it! Also, your cupcakes looks so tasty and cute! I love that their little mini footballs. Enjoy the game!!! xx
