Smooch Cosmetics

I was recently lucky enough to be sent some lovely goodies from the cosmetics company Smooch.

Smooch's philosophy is to create "Cosmetics with Sex Appeal"

Known for their saucy, lacy packaging and highly desirable range of colours. The concept came, quite simply, from a drawer of lingerie. The idea was to create a lust worthy cosmetics brand that was saucy and sexy without being salacious.

I was offered to choose two products to review, with my spending ban now in full swing, I wanted to choose items that I could use in my everyday look so I picked this Kookie Crumble Blush and this Dare to Bare eyeshadow duo.

The first thing you notice about the products is the pretty packaging they come in, I really like the lace design on the boxes. The actual packaging inside is great too, its quite secure (unlike some I've had where the hinges have broken off and you have half bits of eyeshadows hanging around!) and you can wipe them clean too.

The Kookie Crumble blush is a different shade to what I am used to wearing as I tend to wear pink blushers so I was a little wary about how it would look, but after using it for a few days I found that it gave me a natural dewy look. I think I will continue to stick to my pink blushers though and maybe purchase this Sugar Rush blush next (after my spending ban of course!)

The eye shadow duo is really pigmented and actually reminds me of two of the shades out of Urban Decays Naked 2 palette. I love that the colours are subtle enough for me to wear them to work but also that they are quite shimmery which makes them a bit more eye catching.

You can purchase the Kookie Crumble Blush for £8.50 and the Dare to Bare eyeshadow duo for £9.50 from the Smooch website.

They currently have an online offer where you can get 25% off when you purchase £15 worth of products so I'd recommend that you take a look at their full range.

Have you ever tried anything from Smooch?
