Battled with the elements to get to work...the weather this week has been horrendous and its not going to change any time soon! There have been super high winds, torrential rain and storms and even thunder and lightning! There are flood warnings everywhere is Dorset so if you're out and about, be careful!
Took down the Christmas tree...I always find it really sad when I do this but once Christmas is over I don't see the point in having it up anymore. Its always a precise operation putting all the branches back in the box the right way to make sure it comes out the same way next year!
Started saving...I've decided that 2014 is going to be the year of saving, so sorry guys my posts will be more enabling than reviews! I'm going to be using up all the products I have already (and some new ones I got for Christmas) before I buy more and I will be putting money aside for things I really want to buy this year (like a Canon 600D!)
Watched some great documentaries...I love David Attenborough, so when I heard he was doing a documentary called Alive (which was filmed in my favourite London museum (The Natural History Museum) I had to watch. Also, another favourite of mine, David Tennant was narrating Spy in the Pod, a documentary about dolphins which was really interesting. If you get a chance to watch either on catch up, I'd definitely recommend them!
Met up with Jaye for Starbucks...luckily there is a Starbucks across the road from where I work and Jaye was able to meet me there before I started as I was working lates this week. It was great to have a catch up as I probably won't see her for a while now as she's heading back to London for another year of uni.
What have you been up to this week?

I haven't heard of Star Gazing but it sounds like something I'd like. I've never been offered the chance to do a sponsored post so I haven't made any money back from my blog yet. If you think of any ways please let me know! xx
DeleteI know what you mean about the storms - here in the Midwest we get them about a week or so before they end up in the UK. You're probably off to get a tonne of snow in the coming weeks. It was down to -18C on Friday and getting colder next week - chilly times!
ReplyDeleteWe took our Christmas tree down yesterday and the apartment is so bare now!
The storms have been terrible, even here in London, the weather is rather something to battle against!

The wind is battering against my window right now, It's pretty scary! Silly weather!
ReplyDeleteAs for saving! I really want this to be a year of saving too! (It's never going to happen for me)
But at least when you get your camera you will be proud! :)
