ASOS Wishlist

I never really knew what people were raving about when they talked about ASOS until recently I started browsing their pages and discovered what all the fuss is about!

It's a great place to get all the brands you want in the same place, and they offer free delivery!

I've put together a wishlist of some of the items I would love to buy/receive from there (hint hint hubby!)

Firstly I love the name! How cute is pink blossom and I don't currently use any powder on my face shock/horror! so I'd love to try this!

Alex Jones was wearing this on Let's Dance for Comic Relief and I love it! Unfortunately it's now only available in a size 6 (boo hoo not my size) but I can still lust after it!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in Vanilla £9.99

After seeing this on another blog, I really want to try it. I want to try a liquid foundation rather than the mousse I currently use as I think it will give a better coverage.

100 Day Spending Ban Challenge

This morning I saw a post from Ash over at Rambles of a Beauty Addict about doing a 100 day spending ban and i've decided that I would like to join her.

I think I spend waay too much money on unecessary items that end up sitting in a drawer or don't get used at all. So I would like to take part in this challenge to realise what products I acutally do use and what I spend/waste my money on and what I really can/can't do without. Hopefully it will make my money go further and it will also keep my husband happy as he complains that I have too many nail varnishes and I spend too much time shopping!

 Rules: (which I have stolen and modified from Ash! Cheeky!)

I am only allowed to buy something when & only when I have finished every product in that category. Example: I can only buy another shampoo/conditioner when I have finished all the part used ones I already have in my bathroom/bedroom

The things I can spend my money on are rent, bills and my monthly food shop (obviously) travel costs, presents for birthdays & other occasions, food & drink if I am out & have no other option & essentials like stamps etc

I am going to start this on the first of April (today) & it will end on the ninth of July.

I know that it is going to be hard not to buy anything but I really need to stop buying things I don't need whether they are on offer or just because I have the spare money. I used to be able to save & not have the urge to spend it, I want to be able to do that again.

I will be updating you all every week to see how the spending ban is going.

Jewellery Bargains Under £5

Firstly I just realised that this is post one hundred and one! I missed one hundred yesterday! Oops! Thank you to everyone that reads my blog, its because of you that I've got this far!

One of my absolute favourite places to shop online is eBay. I love being able to find a bargain and somebody's unwanted items is always somebody elses treasure.

I've really been into kitsch accessories lately so I thought I would put together some bargains i've found on eBay. Most of these are from Chinese sellers but are really cheap so if you don't mind waiting a few weeks for them to be delivered then its a great place to find a bargain. I never really worry about seller feedback much these days because as long as you pay with Paypal then you're fully protected.
